Refund Policy

RETURNS & REPAIR POLICY
 
Non-Faulty Products:
Products will only be accepted for credit if:
o        They are returned within 30 calendar days of purchase.
o        They are returned with the original invoice number.
o        They are unused.
o        They are returned with an accompanying RMA (Returned Materials Advice) Number (See Specific Terms, below).
o        They are returned in their original packaging.
o        There is no damage to either the product or packaging i.e. both in original condition.
o        They are returned complete, i.e. complete with original instructions, all leads and ancillary equipment, etc.
o        Products purchased as a special order will not be accepted for credit.
o        No cash refunds will be given.
 
Faulty Products:
o        If after evaluation a returned product is found to be without fault, an inspection and handling charge of 25% of the original purchase price will be made.
 
Faulty Products that are returned within 30 days of purchase:

o        The product is returned with the original invoice number.
o        Products are returned with an accompanying RMA number.
o        They are returned in their original packaging.
o        There is no damage to either the product or packaging i.e. both in original condition.
o        The product is returned complete, i.e. complete with original instructions, all leads and ancillary equipment, etc.
 
o        Incorrectly despatched goods will be replaced, upon satisfactory receipt of the original item, at no cost to the customer.
o        All faulty products must be accompanied by a meaningful fault description.
o        Inadequate fault reports will invalidate our 30 day returns policy and will result in the product being returned to supplier for repair as laid out in the manufacturers warranty terms in this instance no credit or exchange will be given.
o        No cash refunds will be given.
 
Faulty Products outside the 30 Day Period:
In warranty repairs:
o        All returned products must be accompanied by an adequate fault report.
o        Products are returned with an accompanying RMA Number.
o        The warranty for each product will commence from the original sales invoice date for the product to be repaired.
o        EMS Radio Fire and Security Systems Ltd is not liable for any costs arising from the warranty claim.
 
Out of warranty repairs:
o        May be subject to an inspection charge.
o        All charges made for the repair, including delivery and handling charges, will be paid for by the customer.
 

 

Specific Terms:
  • Batteries are excluded from product warranty.
  • RMA (Returned Materials Advice) Numbers may be obtained from:

    • The EMS Customer Returns Department.
