EMS Wireless Fire System is chosen to protect Mount Ephraim Gardens.
The Mount Ephraim country estate near Faversham in Kent has been owned by the Dawes family for over 300 years. As well as being the family’s main residence, its extensive gardens are open to the public and the manor house hosts weddings and corporate events. To comply with fire regulations and insurance requirements, a new fire detection system was needed that complies fully with recently-introduced legislation and that could be installed quickly with minimal disruption to the family, the business and the fabric of the building. The new EMS FireCell system was chosen as the ideal solution to meet Mount Ephraim’s needs.
FireCell is the first system available in the UK to be fully compliant and third party tested to the new EN54 part 25 standard. The system, manufactured and supplied by UK-based EMS Radio Fire and Security Systems Ltd and installed by Abel Alarm Company Ltd was fully fitted and commissioned within 2 days.
